In collaboration with universities of applied sciences, well-known CEP services (courier, express and parcel services) and experienced industrial companies, the small electric vehicle HopOn with the usable space of a Euro pallet and a payload of 250 kg.
HopOn offers plenty of space on its universal loading platform and requires little space for the rider, who can easily get on from all sides and then ride while standing or sitting. European type approval has been requested for a speed of < 25 km/h (no helmet required) and a range of 30 km or optionally 60 km. Thanks to its powerful motorization and robust design elements, the HopOn can be ridden safely and without muscle power all day long – even on inclines!
Parcel service delivery vans can HopOn without restricting the storage space for parcels. This patent-pending option is described later on this website. At the edge of the destination area, the driver can park the van and use HopOn for delivery to the final recipients. This largely eliminates the need for micro-depots, which are essential when using cargo bikes.

HopOn can be carried by remote control during distribution and driven in and out of the van under its own power.
At the same time HopOn a modular system of swap containers is being developed. These containers can be pre-packed all day at the logistics center, reducing the time it takes to load the delivery van in the morning by more than an hour.
As the universal loading area has the standard dimensions of a Euro pallet and is equipped with airline rails and lashing eyes to secure the load, standard commercial containers and packaging can of course be used alongside the proprietary swap body.
Optional containers and HopOn can be fitted with transponders for easier tracking.
The remote control of the carry-along module can also be used to operate the immobilizer and locking device, so that it is impossible to leave HopOn is not a risk but a relief.
Easy transportation
The centerpiece of this innovative transport system is a lightweight stationary lift with guide rails in the corners of the walkway. This small lift is a great help for loading and unloading the upper rows of containers. At the same time, it is used to safely raise and lower the containers in less than a minute and to lock the HopOn in its transport position.
The ramp integrated into the floor of the walkway is pulled out manually for loading and unloading heavy parcels and also serves as an entry and exit aid for HopOn. The ramp is designed so that it can also be used as a bridge between the hall ramp and the delivery van.
